Michigan beats Utah

The Wolverines recorded their seventh win of the season tonight, defeating Utah, 75-64, avenging last year’s loss to the Utes in Salt Lake City. Darius Morris posted another double-double with 19 points and 10 assists. Tim Hardaway, Jr., Jordan Morgan and Zack Novak each scored in double figures as well with 17, 11 and 11 points, respectively.

U-M shot 45.8 percent from the field and forced the Utes into 16 turnovers. The defense also held Utah’s leading scorer, Will Clyburn (20.3 ppg coming in), to just 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting. Michigan led 39-22 at halftime and coasted to victory.

Next up, the Maize and Blue will host North Carolina Central on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 7 pm in Crisler Arena. THe game will again be televised on the Big Ten Network. For more on tonight’s game, go the the link below…
